WinTrezur Details
WinTrezur supports the following archive formats:
ZIP archives are treaded as read-only files. They can be created with WinTrezur or other programs and their files can be directly previewed and extracted. A2R archives are the native WinTrezur files optimized for security. Files can be added in A2R archive at any time (create / append), moved and renamed inside its folders, deleted and extracted, and previewed on-the-fly without extracting. A2R archives are password protected and make use of very strong symmetric encryption (CBC mode + optional compression), so that you are in full control of your files:
- AES up to 256 bit, Serpent up to 256 bit, Blowfish up to 448 bit
- Plus: several combined encryption modes, such as, Blowfish + AES.
A2R archives encrypt all data and file information (paths, size, etc) with different keys derived from the password. There are no indentifying bytes inside archives. A WinTrezur archive looks like random data to the people who do not have the original password. There are no backdoors. More ...
